Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all users of the MJD Foundation Intranet.

  1. All information contained in this site is confidential and is not to be shared with anyone.
  2. If you would like to share any information, you must first seek approval from the Executive Officer or Chairperson.  Email us here
  3. As part of the Discussion forums, no single MJD client is to be named in relation to their severity of disease, their participation in research, or their medical treatment.

The purpose of the Intranet is to enable information to be shared across all interested parties in relation to Machado Joseph Disease and the MJD Foundation.

Depending on whether you are a Board Member, an employee, a partner, a sponsor, a member, a researcher or in the medical industry, your level of access may allow you to:

  • participate in relevant discussion forums
  • be notified via email when something of interest is posted
  • access research information relating to MJD
  • access MJD Foundation minutes
  • access MJD Foundation policies and procedures
  • download forms

As a general guideline, please do not refer to any MJD client by name when discussing details of their severity of disease, research they have participted in, or any treatment they may be receiving.

To register as a new user, please email us stating your name, organisation, title, contact details and your interest in the MJD Foundation.
